    WiFi Questions

I havent played handheld games in a while and im thinking its time to upgrade to a ds. And i have wireless dsl set up throughout my house. Would the WiFi work with a model WRT54G linksys router? I think this would make my gaming more fun with a ds. My only doubt is..im not really into the what i call childish type games. Like Nintendogs and animalcrossing and im seeing a lot of those type of games for the ds. Any input on this?

It should work with any wireless router, all you need is the SSID and the WEP key for your router and you should be good to go. As for childish games, Nintendo certainly has the most of them, though a lot of them are much deeper once you get past the cute graphics. However Nintendo is also starting to get, and has had, quite a few more adult looking games as well. Since I just got a DS and only have Pokemon I'm sure someone else on here could fill you in more on this.

Nintendo games are cutesy and kid-friendly, but you'll be surprised at their depth. I'm 28-years old and I still play Super Mario Brothers. I still play Pokemon. I don't see it just as a cutie game--I see it because it's a fun game that I really enjoy playing. Of course, I also enjoy the occasional blood M-Rated adult title, too, like Devil May Cry and Resident Evil.

You could always get a PSP if there aren't a lot of DS games that appeal to you. With the recent price cut they cost almost the same and it definitely has more "adult" games.

              Re: WiFi Questions

Both the DS and PSP have a huge range of excellent games of both a family-friendly and mature nature.

The depth of Nintendo's first-party titles are excellent, though, despite the approachable, easy-on-the-eyes presentation. It does not detract from the games' quality.

What on earth does DS have that's mature?

                Resident Evil DS?!

As far as M-rated, I think RE is the only one but there's quite a few T-rated games that aren't kiddie.

                    Re: WiFi Questions

"E" rating does not mean "kiddie".

People have to get that through thier heads.

Nintendo's starting to make some good grown-up games. Hotel Dusk is one, and the upcoming Disaster: Day of Crisis is supposed to be a mature title.

And Twilight Princess is the first Zelda game ever to receive a Teen rating. There's some darker, more violent stuff than in previous Zelda titles.

Hotel Dusk was developed by an independent developer which is also working on the new DS Monster Rancher.

didnt the first version of ocarina of time have a T rating because of the blood in the ending?

Nope. And yet they edited it out, anyway. Along with the theme for the Fire Temple. Ugh, horrible edit.

Just out of curiosity, what was edited from the Fire Temple?
