Pavilion Summer Brainstorming Thread

There's really not much more than can be done for the RPG Maker aspects of the RPG Maker Pavilion at this time that isnt already done or being worked on.

So I want to turn attention to the General Discussion areas. What can be improved? What needs to change? Any additions that people would like to see? Don't be afraid to suggest anything that pops into your head, even if it doesnt seem possible from a tecnical standpoint. If people want something, I'm more than willing to put the work into making it a reality.

I think the general discussion forum's are good the way they are now. A debate forum is probably what a lot of people may like, and it's not a bad idea, but not entirely necessary.

Maybe unrealistic, but since we're brainstorming... I'd like to see an "ignore this topic" feature, so I don't have to get angry every time someone posts in a "WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK/SNACK" topic.

This community is so odd, as it's based around a game that hardly any of us actually play, yet...It keeps going, and going...

That's the charm of this place. And why I like it so much.

But RPG Maker still generates interest, and people still come here for those games, too. You see new members post their ideas and ask for help, and that's what the Pavilion provides. Of course, the other stuff is pretty nice, too.

I second this brainstorm.

My next order of business, should the "ignore this topic" idea become a reality, would be to eliminate the "online games" sub-forum, as it is stupid and annoying, and also stinks and is dumb.

Some rep-related ones:

• Allow us to customize the amount of received reputation comments we see in "User CP"
• Allow us to see the previous reputation comments we've sent
• Have some sort of statistics page for rep, where we can see what percentage of our rep came from which member, etc.

we should have a weekly mass voting on bannings, with anyone getting 75% of the active pavilion vote against them being banned forever!
