    Super Mario Strikers

    I need a good GameCube multi-player game, and I ran across this. It's a soccer game that's supposed to be very fun. It's been out for quite a while, and I'm not sure if it's going to hit the Player's Choice, but I can safely assume that it's gone down in price. Perhaps $30 or $20.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    I love SMS. But it`s 110x better with friends.

    I highly reccomend it.

      Never played Strikers but, I thought Soccer Slam was a lot of fun. If you don't remember that game, it was the Soccer game that they made before Strikers and it was published by Sega. Anyway, the Wii Mario Strikers is coming out soon
      (7/30/07) and will have online matchmaking so, I'd wait for that.

        I have the Mario Baseball game on Gamecube, which is pretty good, but I've never played the soccer. All the Mario sports games are usually fun, especially with friends. I would also suggest waiting for the Wii version next month.

          My friends and I were playing this the other night. Wow, it's a really fun game! See, Nintendo knows how to make fun games.

          It's pretty straightforward, but difficult to master well. Especially since playing against my more-experienced friend wasn't exactly a walk in the park for me....being a noob and all. But still though, I like how the game handles. The super kicks are amazing. An American developer made this, so they got the Mario characters dead-on. (Peach has this sexy pose that she does before a soccer match, which I thought was funny.) They just look a little edgier and meaner-looking than their happier incarnations in other Mario-themed games.

          Yeah, I plan on picking this up. That and Charged for the Wii.

            Yeah Soccer Slam is another good one, but be forewarned that the voice acting in it SUCKS HORRIBLY. Like it'll melt the wax out of your head so more blood can pour out.
