    The "Knocked Up" Topic

I've been looking at reviews for this movie, and they have all been pretty positive. I mean, this does come from the director who made "The 40-Year Old Virgin," which to this day, still ranks as one of my favorite movies. So...who's going to see it?

Oh, Rotten Tomatoes.....gave this movie a 92% Fresh rating: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/knocked_up/

I'm tired of hearing every goddamn commercial break:

"Have you heard about Knocked Up, the new comedy from the director of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin"?

    YES I HAVE GODDAMMIT.

I think I will see it as I have a break before Harry Potter and the Simpson's comes out.

If you liked his other movie, you'll probably like this. But get ready for about a billion references to Spider-Man 3. As far as romantic comedies go, you can do a lot worse. But that entire genre's fostered low expectations.

I'm sad to say that I'm not planning on seeing this because of Mora's review.
Unless everyone wants to go see it and it's one of those why not deals.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Ironically I did see Spiderman 3. Take that irony.

I don't plan on watching this movie EVAR! Why? Because there are only like two romantic comedies that I even remotely enjoy. So in conclusion, there is a higher chance of me watching Shrek 3 than this movie.

I plan to see it later today. I missed my chance yesterday because I went to bed at 5:30 a.m. and overslept for the early show.

The 40-year-old Virgin is a really good movie. I've seen it probably 800 times since it's on HBO all the time, but it never gets dull to me. My only gripe is the third act really slows down comedically, and turns into a really lame romance story.

But the the first 2/3 is gold.
