    My current project

Im working on a game for RPG maker 1 at the moment.

I wont go into major details on the plot because I dont want to spoil anything but one of the major elements of the story is a guy that gets transformed into a girl and wants to change back. Thats the main character essentially.

I was just wondering if people would be still interested in playing it even after hearing that. I know that subject bothers people sometimes.

I can assure you that while the game might have some suggestive themes at times its not in anyway intended as a fetish game, it actually does have a serious plot.

Let me know what you all think ok

Nah, I actually enjoy transgender stuff. I even wrote a story involving such a thing once. And I didn't care whether other people would like it or not. Sure, I was a bit hesitant about posting it, but it was a story I liked and I went with it. (And then I cancelled the story the next chapter, but that's for a different reason. :/ )
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Sounds like an amusing idea. I can almost imagine myself jokingly saying slowly to the character, "and this is a problem for you?".

One thing that would be interesting is how the people in-game would react to the change. If you're really good you could make the player wonder "what would I do in his (her?) shoes?". And you could also take the opprotunity to explore the question "why would gender matter?" (I wonder what would happen if the character comes to a race of creatures where there either is no seperate gender or the differences ae so small that it barely matters?).

There is some of that, but mostly the guys he knew dont recongnize him as who he was, and he's supprised at how differently they treat him now that hes a girl (and quite attractive too)

Like one guy who was his best friend when he was a guy, treats him really badly as a girl. Basically as a guy the two were always jokeing around, but as a girl he was treating her like a piece of meat, and its a real shock to the main character. (I dont think all guys are like this lol)

I'll be sure to submit the game when Im done with it

If you ever read the Fox Trot comic strip, then there's a story you might find interesting. Peter is reading The Metamorphosis, and when Jason learns what the book is about he goes to bed hoping to turn into a bug, but instead turns into a girl.

            sounds funny.

Im working on trying to decide if they player can change back into a guy at the end of the game or not, or maybe give a choice.

Oh yeah. You could have it so the hero, as a girl, falls in love with a boy, she has to decide whether to change back or not.

The whole thing transforming thing sounds like something the villian of one (hopefully several) of my games would do to someone else: transform them, watch them stew, and laugh.

I considered having the transformed girl fall in love but wasnt sure if I really wanted to.

I plan to eventually turn this story into a book so maybe when I do that.

so tell me about this villan

                  Prepare for the essay...

Basically he's (his name's Saadrac) known to the Nitatiko people as the God of Chaos. Of course, since the Nitatikoes are 3-feet rodents who never grow up in the metaphorical sense, "Chaos" isn't a very strong word, them being unable to contemplate the nastier points of evilness. Of course, meeting humans has changed that, at least for Saadrac. He has his limits, though - he doesn't consider death very funny.

Transforming people into forms they don't like is something he does find funny, though generally he transforms them into lizardmen, harpies, mermen, and other forms (ussually the one they like least), promising to return them to their original form if they help defend his castle. In my game, the hero is one such transformee, and he can either help Saadrac by bringing him back to the mortal plane, or help a bunch of demon slayers prevent Saadrac's summoning.

Before I go further, I should ask, have you ever played any of the Castlevania games? It would give me a better point of reference to help explain my little chaotic god.

Ive played a few of the castlevania games but I also have a lot of knowledge in mythological stuff so if that helps.

Ive also decided to add a possible romantic interest to my game. hopefully it will make it more interesting.

what game is your game made for?

RPG Maker 3, though I hope to be able to make additional titles for 2 and XP.

One of Saadrac's abilities is to take the form of a number of things for boss battles, which generally is just about anything that:

                      1. Is at least twice as big as a human (ie. no goblins)
                      2. Has a head that is not disproportionatly smaller than the boss's body (no trolls)
                      3. Is not composed of a single substance (no golems)
                      4. And is not female or intended to look female (no sirens)

But I'm yarning here. I'll keep this to PM's from now on.
