Searching For Search Feature

OK...

I wanted to search for a 2 word phrase to see if anyone had made a game like what I am planning.

But it is two fairly common words.

Didn't there used to be a "match exact phrase" radio box or something in the advanced search options?

I can't seem to find it!

Am I just blind? (They DID tell me that it would make me go blind!!)

I don't see such an option, either. However, on some search engines, putting the phrase in quotes (i.e. "RPG Maker") does search for the exact phrase. Try that.

EDIT:

When quotes are used I get no results (time set correctly for all old posts) and I know the phrase has been used! I used it in a topic title once long ago!

Have you tried viewing your own Public Profile (not the User CP) but clicking on your name in the above post and viewing Public Profile and then "View all Threads Started by Rodak." When I just did that on your name, it brought up every thread you've posted back to some time in 2005. Maybe that doesn't go back far enough though?

EDIT: Oh, I just realized that you weren't looking for a thread that you had posted, but one posted by someone else that had the same topic as yours. Well, can you mention the "two words" here? I'm assuming no, for whatever reason.

I found my old post.

But I was not looking for my old post!

I was trying to research old game ideas and games made by others to see if this had been attempted before.

I'll do it anyhow, but I wanted to know if I was the first to attempt this.

It's for the Garbage contest, which may be a mistake as it may turn out Good!

But it would take far too long to do a good job, so I'll do a half-butted job and throw it in the Garbage!
