    Karma gods love us.

Me and Zieg biked to Game Crazy saturday - four miles each way. But it was SO worth it. For 40 dollars-

    -games currently in Zieg's posession-
    Orphen - subtitile I forgot
    Shadows of Destiny
    Gulty Gear X

    my games-
Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII - I'm unhealthily addicted to this game.
Eve of Extinction - it's an okay action game, I really don't own any action games, so I'm having more fun than most people would.
Robotech : Battlecry - we got one $5 game free, and we were devoid of parents for all the fun mature rated games, so we had to get this. Playing this game makes me wish I was part of the Grump Factory XD.

You god some good ones and a stinker or two in there.

But i will say, that i enjoyed Eve of Extinction very much, and was one of the FIRST games to use context sensitive controls to progress the story in cutscenes.

Edit: Orphen is the only truly BAD game of the bunch!

Zieg has been saying good things about Orphen.
And I always wonder who in EoE was evil enough to glue the revolving ticket doors shut...0_0 But I'm finally getting the hang of pole jump - bare hand switch grab, which helps. Oh, and the first boss fight rocked hardcore.

Well, you certainly snagged a great deal there for just $40.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a really good find in my opinion. Although I'm not really a tactician, I really like playing those kinds of games.

Robotech Battlecry is a pretty good game. I liked the aerial dogfights.

I haven't tried Orphen yet, but I hear it's not that great.

I never played it, but I remember the subtitle. Orphen: Scion of Sorcery. I always looked at it when the PS2 was nice and new. But I bought Summoner instead.

Is this about the games or the lack of information? I could talk about them...}:3
I've done every role in Romance now except Liege, and I've gotta say prefect was my favorite. Warlord was fun - until I learned about IP.

Have you played Nobunaga's Ambition before? It's in the same vein as Romance, only set in Feudal Japan. I used to watch my friend play it on the NES.

The later Romance games went more of an RTS direction. Fine, if you like that sort of thing, but that's not what I played them for. I liked the micro-management of little details and getting closely acquainted with generals, towns, adversaries, etc. When it went to more of a resources-manager game, it lost all its personality.

Edit: My all-time favorite game of this genre was Rise of the Phoenix...I think for the SNES.

Haha, I don't really manage resources. But yeah, playing a CHA guy has little payoff. 0_0
