Did anyone watch tonight's episode? I had work tonight so I didn't get to see it. I heard Ludacris was guest-starring. Other than that, I want to applaud this 18-year old series for reaching a new landmark. Maybe they'll hit 500?

I'm so sick of hearing people *****ing about how the Simpsons isn't as good as it used to be. the last few seasons have really picked up the slack and tonight's episodes were pretty damn funny. much better than Family Guy.

Family Guy had its stint, it was cool, funny, great, for a while. It was never "better" than the Simpsons, it just had its revival while the Simpsons had a low point.

Besides that, the Simpsons is getting a bit tired, but how could that be a surprise. 400 episodes is insane. It's a landmark, but it's partially due to the fact that FOX doesn't have the heart to cancel it. I haven't watched in years, and I would be upset if they canceled it. It's just part of American television.

I saw it, because Dave decided to tune in. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either.

Besides, even if the show lost all quality it'd be like a loveless marriage for Groening. It's not good anymore but it's defined your life for so long the prospect of ending it is so frightening you just stick with it.
