Hey, I'm E. I just signed up here, thought i'd say what up. I just bought a copy of RPG maker 2 today online, it's lookin like 2 buisiness days till i get it. I've used RPG maker for about 3 years now, but i only started abusing the engine as of lately. Certain things i've done; well one character in one of the RPG maker games can use Books to Change the dungeon around ya. Like, Dungeon 1-10 You can open a book to make a bridge form, or in dungeon 1-17i think is, you can make a path of ice to walk over the water. I've also gotten a Lead Character Select system, by taking a bit switching advice from one of the other members here. It comes in handy because certain characters are needed to preform different actions in the dungeons, in order to get through it. I love the ideas, i didn't know that you could push the first rpg maker so far, and i look foward to getting to know all of you, and also getting to play the sequel. I have the Prima guide...i don't know why, i just do.

Re: Just Bought a Copy
Hello and Welcome.
Maybe my vfx guide will help (link in signature!), but the syncing of objects to movement is very difficult. Try shrinking the head or enlarging the effect to add more overlap and change the degree to which it appears out of sync.
Or just make a full VFX Hood. Here's an old effort I made at doing this...
http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/...ht=faces+death
I tried to put a skull on the death character. To sync it I had to a LOT of resizing and timing changing. It took a few days of trying, but it did eventually work good from most angles (not so good fro mothers).
Good Luck with it.
Peace

Yeah, XD. I looked through the guide for some pointers with RPG Maker 1, and then i realized that it was essentially just a Fu-Ma Guide... At least i know the Character Models and Maps.. I'll be prepared :/. I think Prima needs to hire some better Guide Designers.
