Its freaky. If we were out in the wild and stuff and almost half of us were born with poor eyesight, does that mean that by survival of the fitest, us 4 eyes should have died out long ago?
Neat. I thought about getting laser surgery; after all, without glasses I'm damn close to legally blind.
There are two things stopping me: a) the thought of having my eyes shaved by a laser still freaks me out a bit, and b) I'm such a dork that I'd actually miss my glasses.
In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.
Yeah, the whole thing is weird. They apply these suction things to your eyeball that synch up with the laser preventing it from straying off course or your eye from closing. It causes your vision to go black during the process of cutting the lens flap, all I saw was a sliver of periphial vision.
The actual lens correcting process is completely blurry so I could just see the laser flashing and hear it crackling, that and the whole thing smells like burning hair. It would have been freaky if the whole thing hadn't taken less than five minutes. That and the valium they give you.
I'm still getting some blurred vision, but yesterday they cleared completely for the first time and everything was sharp. It's very weird when you realize you're seeing without glasses or contacts.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
