Wow. Hardware and software domination this week.

Now to start working on getting those Wiis in the hands of the less fortunate.

I think so. Its not like microsoft or sony are a threat to them lately.

I am happy the PSP is doing better. shame there's still so few good games for it.

IRC and Red Dragon especially! They deserve to get one NOW!

I hope Nintendo listens to them.

...and yet, Nintendo will continue to have their crap-tastic friends code system (confirmed). Why change when you don't have to?

Isn't that friend code thing only there because Nintendo doesn't want kids talking to/contacting peeps they don't know?

friend code system is no different from username system, its just numbers instead of letters. its not a big deal. plenty of games let you play with people without knowing their friend code.

A random series of 16(?)-digits is a little different than a username.

Link please, I can't find similar numbers.

Yeah, the friend code is not the same as a username.

Last time I checked usernames weren't randomly assigned.

I don't mind the Wii friend codes. As long as you only have to add it once per person it's not a big hassle. The DS friend code system on the other hand is balls.

also very interesting, the japanese software charts for last week:
                            http://www.gamespot.com/news/6170684...ewstop;title;9
the top 21 spots are all Wii and DS games.
the first non-nintendo system game on the list was Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for PSP at #22.

                            This is insane.

We have to wait a year however. It'll be on the decline, don't worry.
