    Mass Murder in Oblivion.

Man, I'm still not tired of this game. I finished a week-long quest to kill every single named NPC in the game. every town and settlement is empty, except for the respawning guards and special characters who cannot die. I've been wandering around all day and havent seen a single person who can be killed. the pond in Anvil is filled with so many dead bodies that I can walk across it.

(no, this isnt my main progress)

Now my goal is to fill all my houses with watermelons, using the item duplication trick.

    I love this game.

Oh god, please don't. Kirin has been glued to it for the past week straight. She doesn't need any ideas to keep her on it longer.
    ...and that's why.

Haha, I'm doing that right now, but it's my friends game so progress is slow. Didn't know guards respawned...and I don't intend to break into every house, so I'm just killing every NPC who happens to be on the street when I'm there. XD

          Didn't know guards respawned...
Guards and other no-name people (like bandits and such) respawn every three days in-game, dead people are removed every three days, objects are returned to their proper places after three days, and objects that have no proper place are removed after three days.

the only way to prevent this is to stay in the area. once you leave an area (or go to jail), if three days have passed since something was moved/changed/killed, the above action happens.

I havent gone to jail yet during this killing spree, I just kill any guards stupid enough to come after me.

the imperial city is the hardest to kill everyone in, partially because the high population, and also because there seems to be no set number of guards in the city. they never stop coming.

of course, I'm playing the PS3 version.. it may be different for other platforms.

I filled the basement of Rosethorn Hall with beef. But, I didn't go on a killing spree.

When I am bored, I usually head into a random house, kill the people, then undress them, and finally lay them out for their husbands and wives to find when they get back.

Or hop on top of the houses and shoot the guards in the butt.

I killed Lucien Lachance in my Waterfront shack when he came to visit my good-guy character, his corpse is still there.

Haha, nice. Espeically since Lachance runs so much.
My aforementioned guy is in every guild, so I am gonna murder the crap out of the brotherhood.

And partway, just for kicks, I became a vampire.

I really should gt back to Morrowind or Oblivion.

My main character, i have him doing the main quest, fighters guild, and the arena. My second character, I have her doing shivering isles, dark brother hood, and soon the thieves guild. I think i'll ake a third character to take care of the mages guild.

                              Re: Mass Murder in Oblivion.

I've taken a liking to being indirectly responsible for deaths. I've emptied out the emperial city twice.

Once, I was running from a will-o-the-wisp. Worst ****ing enemy ever (well, until I made my own custom armor to combat its magics :3). In Morrowind, stuff didn't chase you out of caves, so I though this would allow me to escape. It didn't. The Wisp followed me out, and I'd really no way to fight it considering I'd used 20 Welkund Stones and every potion I had on my person to run from it (it was my first encounter with one of the blasted things). In a desperate attempt to preserve my life, I dropped everything in my possession (so I could run faster), ran naked back to the city, and hid upstairs in a bar. Twenty minutes later, the thing finds me, but not before it had killed every single person in town. Fantastic.

The second time, a guard caught me stealing, and was fighting me because I resisited arrest. After killing him, I turn to my left and see four more guards running towards me. I turn to my right, and I see the townspeople running towards me. I'm thinking "Hm...this could be bad. Oh well." I draw my sword and cleave into the closest NPC, which cries out "Hey! I'm on your side!" and heads straight for a guard. Turns out my disposition in town was so high, the other NPCs will fight for me regardless of seeing me commit a crime. A city-wide riot between guards and friendly NPCs breaks out, and several minutes later, the streets are filled with corpses, some of which I reanimated to keep fighting by using the Staff of Worms. Beautiful.

Given that I'm still making mods and playing through Morrowind, I think it's safe to say that I'll be on this one just as long. Sorry.
In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.
