    ps3 Saints Row cancelled

    Wow.

    So um...yeah, apparently they're diverting funds to Saints Row 2, which will be out for both 360 and ps3, and they mentioned how ps3 will have a bigger install base then. Thing is...they've been working on the ps3 port for a WHILE now. In fact, Volition itself was working on the ps3 port since I was there and a different company had taken over the port...and they had trouble getting it over to ps3 when I was there. I'm sure it was a combo of the 2 factors that made them pull the plug...not to mention how close it'll be released to GTA4.

    oh well, i'll just wait for number 2, i've still got the 360 version.

        Well, it's a good thing Jeroak isn't too mad about it being cancelled. That means if the other two people that own PS3s and want it are ok about it too, Volition won't upset it's fan base.
        Keep the change.

          Wow Smurv...just wow.

          Honestly though, i think Volition made a good decision. Saints Row for the PS3 would have been competing with GTA4, and it would have lead to poor sales.

          This way Saints Row 2, will be able to compete with what GTA4 brings to the table.

              I too am a PS3 owner, and I dont care that it was cancelled either. I don't like these types of games. the only game in that "genre" I want to play is crackdown.

                  We all know the only thing capable of defeating GTA4 will be Destroy All Humans 3.
