I got a job over at Culvers, which was just recently built here. It's nothing much, but now I can pay for the essentials that I need.

I quit my job because I have this stupid thing called "pride" and that "pride" was challenged after the fourth time the position my boss promised to promote me to was filled by some jerk. so I'm having a really hard time finding a new job. pity me?

I almost quit my job at the end of my shift last night, actually. My manager basically threatened to fire me for having my shirt untucked, while I was off the clock. I've had enough of his ****.

This is kind of how the dialouge went. I was on my way out the door and just had to swing by the bar to tip them out. Dan stops me.

Dan: "You need to do something about your appearance. You can't be here looking like this."

Me: "But I'm done"

- "I don't care, you can't be here looking like that"

- "Only my shirt is undone. I'm on my way out right now."

- "This is our policy. You've known this from day one."

(At this point I'm irritated beyond belief by his demeanor as he's been riding me all night for no reason. He even yelled at me for picking up tables when I was in no danger of being over-extended.)

- "No one's ever said anything to me about this before. Besides, I'm done and on my way out the door..."

*cuts me off*

- "You will be done if you don't do something about the way you look right now." *stamps off*

So after that I left and applied to a couple different resturants around town. Luckily all 4 of these places said they were hiring so hopefully I'll get one of them.
