    Fallout 3 details emerge:

Not much, but the game will most likely be set on the east coast, probably Washington D.C. Liam Neeson will also voice the main character's father. And the official trailer will debut on June 5th. That's about it. Here's some artwork

I wish they gave more information. But untill then here's what Fallout 3 looked like before Bethesda bought the property.

    Black Isle's Van Buren

Looks rather generic to me, looks too similar to Fallout 2 except with the 3d, but that just might be the early stages of the game.

I cannot have an opinion until I see gameplay.

Well how long ago was Van Buren?
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

So that's why they call it "Fallout"....

Van Buren looks exactly how I would want a Fallout 3 to look.

Only thing I'm worried about is it being Oblivion in a post-apocalyptic setting.

People keep forgetting that Bethesda has been around for much longer than Oblivion, and is responsible for a slew of very diverse releases. You might as well say EA's next game is just going to be Madden with guns as soon as you're gonna say Fallout 3 is gonna be Oblivion with guns. With that being said:

Combat is important, but honestly getting the feel for the world and utilizing the skills well is more important. If you can't talk your way out of the final conflict, then the game is flawed.

I always enjoyed the varied quests.

I'm just worried it'll be oblivion with guns. Remember the dialouge in oblivion?

"Some radscorpions have been harassing my Brahmin"

                            *radscorpions*
                            *Brahmin*
                            *More info*

Oh yeah, there's actually a playable version of Van Buren you can download from No Mutants Allowed.

                              Fallout 3! Now with 100% more c-teasing!

The official teaser is up today, looking a lot like the old intros to Fallouts one and two. That makes my heart happy. But, Fall 2008? FALL 2008?! Dear god, I don't think I'll live that long! (not really, but still!)
