This will probably be my last video game topic for a while, since I am taking a very long hiatus from the world of ebay.

Okay, where shall I start? I had already acquired the first Chip and Dale quite some time ago from a friend at school, but later regretted the purchase (it ran me 22 bucks, which is more expensive that ebay). In fact, I had ANOTHER copy of this before then, but, like a dummy, I lent it to a friend, and I never got the game back. *ahem*
Now, before I ramble any further about other shortcomings, what matters now is that I have acquired both Chip and Dale 1 and 2, and want to discuss only briefly the gameplay and enjoyment of the game from my perspective.
Chip and Dale 1: While 22 bucks is a bit much for this first title, the gameplay is really on the money. Playing as either chip or dale, you're packed with high jumping power and the uncanny ability to throw blocks either straight forward, or straight up. Hell, you can even use the blocks as a shield from enemy attacks, and that certainly gets an A in my book. The mini bosses were ridiculously easy, with exception to Fat Cat, who gave me a little trouble because of his damn cigar (Is Disney trying to say that all cats are smokers?).
I can beat this game in less than half an hour, but the replay value is big, so I know that this game is a real keeper. 4.5/5.
Chip and Dale 2: Okay, I just got this one in the mail, and I was really psyched about getting it since the game is so damn rare. I started playing ti first thing yesterday, and I recall that someone in the "Ducktales" topic had said that this game was a turd. I would like to say that they are partially right. When I started playing the first stage, I didn't necessarily feel the same charm as I did in the first game, so when I got to stage two (after barely defeating the first boss), I decided to turn the game off. I do plan to finish the game, people, but hands down, I think the first Chip and Dale has more staying power. I will rate this game an INC because I didn't finish it yet. However, one thing I admire about Nintendo is that when they make sequels to games, they really do something different with it so you're spending a little more time comparing the titles. I'm not regretful for this purchase, though. Oh, and I have a little secret: I had the biggest crush on Gadget, or as Monty says "Gadget-love."
