    Gamespot Top 10 Suggests Wiikness?

    Today's Top 10 most popular games (by unique visits to a game's domain of pages) on GameSpot shows Spider Man 3 in spots 1, 2, 7, 8, and 10.

    1: XBOX360
    2: PS3
    7: PS2
    8: PC
    10: Wii

    The Wii version hadn't been on the charts until today, unless I've missed it. Also, no other Wii games are up there, although Nintendo's Pokemon franchise did grab two high spots today.

    This seems to be a trend... only the showstoppers seem to appear on the board for the Wii, and to boot games that go cross-platform seem to follow similar patterns to today's Spider Man 3 results (this could mean, of course, that 360/PS3 gamers are starved for good games).

    You guys buying or selling this being a reflection of the Wii's inability to generate hype through most of its games?

      all versions of the spiderman 3 game are garbage, so thats hardly something to judge a system by.

      all this shows is that 360 and PS3 owners are slightly more accepting of that garbage than Wii owners.

        Uh, no? Maybe owners of PS3 and Xbox360 are more interested in reading about the game?

        If I do go to Gamespot, it's to read a review or something.

          WHY WOULD YOU GO TO GAMESPOT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

            Theres not a whole lot of good games that has came out for the wii...so one that may POTENTIALLY be good will be linked to from all sorts of places, just like if you had linked the the review in your post...that would have given the game quite a bit of unique visits...its nothing more then people checking it out, doesnt make it popular.

            Also, a lot more people owns wii the 360 or ps3(not 100% about this), so more people will naturally go to a wii review page.
