I rely on my cell phone too much.

My cell phone screen got all buggy and went out on me. Now its just a brightly lit black screen, which sucks because I can't remember anyones numbers and I have gotten a few texts messages since then.... WHAT DO I DO!!1?

I can't even check my texts online which is gay.

go to the place you got it and complain, complain, complain. something good may happen, but atleast youll feel better about getting screwed by your phone company.

Hope your phone has a SIM Card and you saved to that instead of the phone and get a new one. I guess you could ask them to fix it, but if you're in a contract they may give you a new phone if you sign another contract with them.

I hardly ever carry mine with me, or use it. Helps keep family from calling when I don't have it on me

But then what's the point of having a cell phone? Why not just have a land line then, or get rid of both and just have Skype or something like that. I know I take mine wherever I go, since that's kind of the point of having one. It gets a lot of use while I'm job hunting, since that way I know they'll always get me and not my family.

I have mine all the time since it's my only phone. I even carry it to work when we're not allowed to have it. My manager has turned a deaf ear to it's ringing several times.

Oh I do have a land line, but my parents pay for my cell phone, so I can use it in an emergency. I make sure to take it when I go on long trips, but other than that, I don't bother with it.

I don't even get phone calls on my home phone. My cel is pretty much one expensive paper weight.

I don't have a cell phone and I don't want one. I'd never use it. I afraid to call anyone (becauss I might get the wrong number or have to talk to someone I don't know), and the only person I regularly talk to over the phone anyways is my grandmother who calls every Sunday.

I know what you mean, a cell phone is pretty much standard-issue for me, and really, most gay guys. They give it to you downtown when you get your membership card and your first Cher CD.

I've had similar problems (the phone would either blank out to white, or say "Check SIM" and be non-functional until a restart), though not exactly the same. Try shutting it off and turning back on, or taking the battery out for a few minutes then putting it back in. And of course, if it's under warranty, have it replaced IMMEDIATELY.
