Turn off large emotes in Reputation

After getting bombarded by Somone for whatever reason with the "" emote made me realise that getting huge emotes in reputation is not ideal and allows people to spam things like that without any harm to them.

I don't really care about rep but I would rather not see 20 every time I click User CP.

It probably would save on the bandwith too. And if people want to post them, then they should just host the pics on imageshack.

I admit to doing this. But it think it was Garr so I'm not bothered. He deserves it.

Do pictures that use the [img] tag work?

You could always sling a negative rep back as a "thanks," but yeah, if this can actually be done, it's a good idea.

You know, personally, I think emotes should be limited to a moderately small size, maybe 50 pixels squared. It does annoy me a bit every time someone simply posts a dumpster and it takes up more room than a good post. Just my two cents, of course.

the large emoticons are going to stay. thats something me and mora started here, and we both like it a lot. it's gone on to become popular at other forums too. we're not gonna kill a trend we started.

Soon emoticons will be removed from rep comments though.

Far as I know of there's really no way to differentiate size differences between small emotes (like smileys) and large emotes. They're just all emotes. Doesn't mean you can't put in the text equivalent of emotes. : )
