Like most high schools, mine has a devoted part for 'smokers', now I don't smoke but recently they pulled them out because they were damaged in an accident! They were simple, aluminum, open back benches.
My goal is to build two 6-8 ft long benches in their place, preferrably with backs, for as low a price as possible.
A bench like this, two legs that i can stick in to the ground.
The seats will be roughly 17'' off the ground, I'm undecided on the gauge and thickness of the tubing I should use. And, from there on I'm pretty much in the dark.
Where do I begin?
