Alright, this merits being seperate from the other thread. Basically, I'm doing a game review for my school newspaper on Diamond and Pearl, and if I could interview someone on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, via PM, hell, even this thread, it would be nice. Even just one quote would be helpful. Although I would need your real name.

While Pokemon is obviously aimed at kids, the games constantly prove to be the exception to the rule. There’s something addictive about the games tried and true formula of team creation that no other game as been able to get quite right. In fact, many students here play the game- and it doesn’t stop at high school. For example, take 28 year old Pokemon player [[Misty]], who says, “ I"I like the Pokemon series for what it is--it's straightforward, fun and basic. It doesn't apologize for being true to its roots. Diamond and Pearl takes it to a whole new level with the touch screen and online functionality, meaning you don't have to have a friend living locally if you want to trade Pokemon--you can find anyone around the world."
Diamond and Pearl, the new DS releases, have not lost any of the popularity of the old game. One of the reasons is the addition of wi-fi capability. For the first time, you can trade with and battle friends without being in the same room- in fact, you can be on opposite sides of the globe! In fact, with voice chat included, it’s just like you are in the same room.
Aside from wi-fi, the new additions to the game are largely gimmicks. Granted, they can be nice- for example, touch screen move selection is helpful- but the premise of the game is largely unchanged. Despite being the same game as always with a nice looking facelift, most Pokemon fans have accepted it warmly. In fact, Pokemon fan [[Gray]] went as far as to say, “Why are you reading this instead of playing the very game this report is about? In fact, just forcing this poor person to write this instead of playing the game himself is a crime against god.” While Pokemon Diamond and Pearl may prove the best so far for Pokemon fans, there is nothing groundbreaking to sway those who have disliked the previous game. Still, if you’ve never played any of the Pokemon games, Diamond and Pearl are an excellent way to start.
