    Lumines Lumines LUMINES

    I'm ADDICTED.

    I'm playing this game right now, in my mind.

    Seriously, it's one of the best games I've ever played.

    I've had it for 5 days and I broke 100,000 last night. I know some people have gotten 999,999 and that's INSANE. But I think I'll be able to do it, someday.

    Can't you get this on XBox Live Arcade?

    I would play it if I wasn't broke.

    I can't say how many times I've played through the Geometry Wars trial...
    ...and that's why.

        It's definitely one of my favorite puzzle games...I try not to because I know I can get addicted to it and end up playing it for hours.

          I was actually wondering if you had gotten around to reviewing that Mora.

          Seriously though, all day at work yesterday I was imagining playing Lumines. Falling blocks, rotating them into square formations. It was nuts. It's like Tetris on crack.

          I'll probably end up keeping my PSP just Lumines alone.

          BTW, I also rented (yes, I rented PSP games) MGS: Portable Ops and it's just sitting there. Mocking me. I just can't get into it, and the loose analog nub of the PSP bugs me.

            MPO's easier to get into when you have an extensive network of soldiers working for you.

              So I got to 200,000 pts last night and decided that I should stop playing this game.

              It took me like an hour to get that far too, how the hell do people get 999,999 pts??

                    It's amazingly addictive.

                    It's all about once you start to get the hang of the game. Once that happens you'll eventually get into the "zone" and not really think about what you're doing and just start chaining together massive combos. You get lost in the music, the beat, the colors, and just play. It's crazy.
