Tips and Tricks forum in each Workshop forum.

Seeing as how every workshop forum has it's own tips and tricks thread (or at least most of them do), I think it would help organize and make them more easily searchable if each tip or trick was it's own thread in a subforum in it's workshop thread, tips and tricks. The people could also discuss that particular tip or trick, and add any additions to it. We could also break up the forum into categories, based on difficulty (Just Starting, Beg, Int, Adv, etc), or based on function (scripting, custom DBS, intros, cutscenes, object placement etc.).

So before going forward with this I would like to see the interest in this, and any thoughts you have on how it should be done (should there be additional subforms, or would having a thread name prefix be enough). Also Valk how would this impact the server, would this cause a lot of load or not. Just it's usually time consuming to have to search the whole thread, and would be alot nicer I think to have each one be a separate thread, explaining what it does.

I don't like the idea of breaking up the workshop forums. I like the RPG Maker area to be as streamlined as possible. If people have tips and tricks they want to post topics about, they certainly can.

Besides, I've just stickied the RPGM3 one, and if a RPGM 2 and 1 mod does the same it would be fine. As long as the orginial poster is willing to edit, you just need a thread.

I see where you're coming from here... but I think most of the stuff in the Workshop forum would fall into your classification of "tips and tricks." The only major exception would be "Help me!" topics, but the topic creators would likely see fit to post in the "tips" forum even for that. Besides, in a certain way it's nice having all the tips organized in a single sticky thread--that way the cool ones don't end up sliding to page four after three weeks.

i havent seen enough activity in any of the forums to warrent sectioning it off more. its very easy as it is now to just to look at any post you like and find what you want. a centralized tip section would be good, but perhaps its better to be encorperated into the site itself? the skys the limit i supose.
