    De La Hoya vs. Mayweather

Legend vs. "pound for pound" best fighter...I'm probably not going to be able to see it, but it's probably the last fight in a while that anyone will care about. I've always liked watching Oscar, and he's the 3 to 1 underdog in this fight. Most say he doesn't have a prayer against Mayweather.

I'm going for De La Hoya.

    Yawn.

Only boxer I like is Winky Wright. I saw one of his fights where he started talking to the announcers in the middle of whoping some guy. I don't care who you are that's pretty cool.

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I know some people love boxing... I know some people find a lot of class or nostalgia or beauty in it.

I don't. I really don't see what the point is in having a sport where the goal is to damage someone else's body so badly that it can't support anything beyond its vital functions. I think it's barbaric.

On "Pardon the Interruption" yesterday, Tony lamented that "boxing is dead": that while this will certainly garner some interest in THIS FIGHT, and maybe a rematch, but it will not revive the sport, and nothing can really be done to revive the sport.

I was a little surprised by how sad it made him to say that, because when I heard it my heart fluttered with joy.

I prefer watching hobos fight for scraps of chicken skin. They want it more.

          What's wrong with that?

And I prefer UFC, but boxing is okay too I guess.
