Well the good news is that anyone who isn't Japanese seems to be able to watch it without incident... which is nice because this is one film I really want to see.

A shame that this is happening at all, and I hope no one ends up with any ill effects on the long-term as a result. The good news is that (as far as I know) the motif of harmful sensation usually induces only temporary effects.
