    PoP Wii: censored?

Sooooo, my bf was playing PoP3 for Wii, and we were both noticing little things...like, the choke w/ the dark prince doesn't decapitate, he kicks him away, and he's not slicing guys in half like in the ps2 version. Does anyone know if there was some censorship for the Wii version?

I don't see why they would censor the game, since Resident Evil 4 is pretty gory.

You could have just looked at the front of the box: Rival Swords is rated T; Two Thrones is rated M.

Why is anyone playing Rival Swords when there is a superior in every way, uncensored, playable on Wii, non-PSP port version available for GC?

It's the same game as Two Thrones--with the exception of its unnecessary price tag, functionality of the Wii Remote and, of course, some mature content edited out.

And yes, I agree with Naruto. I'd much rather get the GameCube version since none of the mature content is compromised.

Interesting. I had heard NO press in regards to this, but maybe I just wasn't reading the reviews er something. Also, it's just a rental, and he was curious to see how it played on Wii.

Though I appreciate the Wii Remote concept, I don't see why they would re-release a game that's been out already. Even more disturbing, they butchered a lot of the content that made it great in the first place, and priced it at $49.99 (or $39.99--I'm not sure about the exact price, but it's still too much.) It's like paying more money for a watered down version of an excellent game when the better alternative is getting the same game (in its uncensored glory) for only $20. AND, as Naruto pointed out, it's playable on the Wii!

I was wondering how in the world they could possibly give it a Teen rating. That sucks major balls.... That's like re-releasing Resident Evil 4 onto the Wii and taking all the good stuff out.

                  Mature content... ugh.

But then again, it's not like I have to play it.
