It ran me a pretty penny (35 bucks with shipping), but I finally got this game in the mail today. In comparison to Ducktales 1 (which I can beat in less than 20 minutes on ANY mode), Ducktales 2 plays a bit slower, but it has the advantage of having no time set for each stage. Ducktales 1 was timed, but I had plenty of it to go through the entire stage.
Ducktales also gives you different gizmos that are supposed to help you throughout the game (one items makes you break things you couldn't break with your cane). In my opinion, this new option is pretty lame, because you literally have to beat the stage in a precise order, unlike the first.
The bosses...well, three out of the five were a piece of cake, but two of them actually gave me a run for my money (one boss just throws stuff at you, and you have to wait until rocks fall to the ground; then you have to swing it at him; he breaks apart, then you have to walk over to the body and hit the "little core" that's in the body five time). Honestly, it's time-cosuming.
Sadly, the ending wasn't up to my expectations either, but I don't want to get into that. I'm not regretful for making the purchase, because I carry a classic piece of gaming history, a staple of my childhood. All I have to do is:

Now....getting the other rares, like Bubble Bobble 2, is going to take some work....
