Of course after 9-11 and Iraq, this isn't as impactful, but wow, this is still terrible. 4 days from 4-20, the day of columbine, and Hitler's b-day. I wonder if that has anything to do w/ it.

This is pretty crazy simply because it was two shooters in different places at different times. So either it's quickest copycat crime ever or more than one person got together and planned it out to attack at different times. That's the really scary thing because I would think it shows tactical planning for a school shooting on a level that's unprecedented.

I blame X-box Live for training a new level of psychos who hone their teamworking skills.

They're saying that their was a 2 hour time difference between the shooting at the dorm, and the shootings in the class. Even though they can't confirm that they are related, weren't there policemen around for the dorm issue?

Yeah just heard about this on radio on the way home. So is it actually the most deadly school shooting ever? That's what the DJ said but I'm not sure.

But yeah, all it takes is one crazy guy who's mad at the world, or just has some blood lust. Of course had the guy done this on a battlefield defending his country or beliefs he would be a hero. So interesting how quickly our opinions on killing change.

As for the policemen, I don't know how quickly they would be able to get there. I know we never had policemen patroling our dorm to my knowledge, and it was right next to the campus police station, and lots of students just let people in without asking if they live there. Still seems someone would have been notified, but if no one was tracking the guy, I don't think they would have expected him to just goto to some random dorm and continue the rampage. Most people would be trying to get away at that point.

EDIT: fixed so that my statement is qualified enough, since obviously I know nothing about the morality of killing someone according to some people.

There are some news stations saying that the death toll has apparently climbed to 29.

it seams to be a popular trend for some stupid reason. all the more reason to say the hell with the world and become a recluce.

campus police are a joke, its just a buch of wanabe cops or foaks trying to make the appearance of security. in a real emergency ill look towards real uniformed policemen rather then any faux security.

seams some of the deaths/injuries where caused by people jumping out of the high floors. if anyone armed with a weapon tried to take my life i would do everything within my power to twart that attempt as im sure many of those in this incident have done.

a damn shame the world has degressed to such levels of human insanity.
