    GooGrid: Massively Multiplayer Ecosystem

    http://www.googrid.com/

Kinda like a mash up of SimLife and SimEarth, you design creatures that wander around on your screen and migrate to other players. Herbivores/predators/scavengers of a bunch of different sizes. I've been playing around with it for a few days and have found it pretty addicting.

    Notes:
Your first few creatures will probably die instantly, it takes awhile to get the hang of it.

Predators are a pain in the ass to make.

If you create something kick ass don't be suprised if people start trying to make things that kill it.

Try to get the hang of the advanced mode editor pretty quick.

Edit: Oh yeah, maximizing your window actually makes your island/field bigger.

"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

You can type in game, click on the little white bar at the bottom. And for critters to migrate to other screens they have to be published.

          the more you know.

Shouldn't this be in the online games section?

Anyhow, I loved SimLife so this may be fun too. However how do I create an account? I am just having fun with the title screen

Edit: Nevermind, that was an easier create account than expected. But the game keeps crashing on me in the middle of gameplay. Guess that's why it's a beta

type in the name/password BEFORE you hit log in/register, if you didn't know.
