To be fair, Torayu jam sessions are usually at least a few days long...but it's been awhile and I like the name.
So! New stuff exists.
The torayu map (for those who hacked it) is completly re-done. It's awesomeified (has to be, it's the only map in the game!). I have, for those who want the perfect ending, the ultimate test of patience- the hall of keys. A "dungeon" (no encounters at all, remember) which has two keys- one on level 10, and one on level B10. :evil
Theres also a new challange in the game. The epitaph hunt. There are five tombstones (not counting Hyrugami's, for those who pulled that off), and you have to read each one. THEN you have to relay information on each tombstone to five different people. It's worth it, though, as I'm putting in a "prize room" where the higher the rank, the better the stuff.
Basically, the Torayu progression will be to go from town to town, and the dungeons will hold speical things that will help with the adventure and let you get a perfect ending.
So, Obright, I'll have something for you to screencap soon, and it will look damn cool. :D
Oh, and heres a dialogue from a little easter egg in Torayu. Not naming the characters, but one is Kezu and the other...well, anyone whos gotten a perfect ending should recognize the attitude. :wink
"How did you get here?!"
"I flew."
"You can fly?!"
"You can't?"

Sounds good Hito!
The keys in the dungeon are twenty floors apart. Wow. I'm glad there aren't any battles in a dungeon that size. Is every floor a super complicated maze?
I like the epitaph hunt idea.

Man I wish I could keep up with game forums better. :( Anyway, sorry this post is so late. I've been thinking a lot about Torayu, actually, and hoping you were working on it. Damn it was cool to see that you had been!
And yes, I would be more than happy to take some more screen caps for you. I can't wait to see the map!

Remember when I said five different people to talk to for the epitaph hunt? I forgot this was RPGM3. It's only gonna be one. -_-
Going to set up the Torayu pathfinders building...hopefully this weekend. Plus my summer break is soon! Setting up the old playhouse outside to become the House of Torayu (and other gaming.) Me and Zieg are rocking hardcore with carpentry.
And Obright, thats aweeesome. Ix said that the mag is finally taking on the Torayu preview, so as soon as I find the damn USB drive (or make zieg lend me his -_-) I'll give you the new verison. You won't really be getting much new content other than the map XD. It just cuts from the Edimeier Estates to you out on the streets because I haven't made the transistion storyteller yet. And I made the Hall of Keys late at night so the upper level stairs face backwards.
But yeah, that'd be awesome for screenies. You'll get carte blanche in the world map - although theres a few I'd like for you not to miss. (Theres a grove of trees area thats one of the only 100% things in the game.)
Plus the forest looks wicked cool with night - fog. Thats going to be a part of my game. :D

Man, that sucks :(. Can you not switch all 5 of the NPC's to a different special mode for the event?

I'm there...just give me a PM when you're ready, and I'll relocate ye olde ps2. I can't wait to see the map finally! :D And like I already said before, I really like taking my camera to some place that a friend made to take pictures. I love finding awesome places, setting up the frame, getting the angle and time of day perfect, and then snapping a picture. Lots of fun.
[EDIT] Oh, and I hope your previewer does you right!

Yeah, it's not that I couldn't do it, it's just when I started planning all the characters I'm going to need, I decided to just have it all in one place. Besides, I kinda like this better- with the hunt, the Pathfinders Guild is gonna be awesomesauce. Descriptions on all the locations and such.
And when I said streets in the last post I meant map XD.
Soo, I'll do that when I see that the new mag issue is coming. If we have a month or longer, I might try to add a bit more for you to photograph. :D

If the screenshots Obright gets you are anything like other ones he's done (for SotT, for example) then that will be really cool.
EDIT: You mention the "Perfect Ending" that's possible. How many other endings will there be that the player can get?
By the way, having a "fort" for gaming like the one you're talking about sounds really cool. I remember when I was in high school, I had this shed in the backyard that became the workout/video game area. That was so much fun.

The better I make the screenshots look, the better I feel about it personally. In addition to that, the better they look, the more people will want to play/work on the game that the caps are from. In addition to THAT, the better they look, the more people will be interested in/inspired to use RM3.
Everybody wins! :spin
And Hito, when you say 'carte blanche'.....hm.....MWAHAHAHA!!....seriosly though, I noticed there was an event every night, and wondered were you planning on changing the weather somehow? It sounds like you were, and if so I'll need to know what weather settings I'll have access to for the screenshots. *Glee* I've taken a lot of screenshots for people, but this will be the first time I've been able to switch to fog if I wanted to for the 'pictures'.

While I was planning on a climate system that changed every day, it was too much work. Instead, it'll be like, you go to a town and you have to wait X ammount of days (I will provide a bit more obvious of a wait spot :p) till a foggy night, and then go to whatever.
And you HAVE to be checking the weather every day, because if the timer gets to morning after the fog night, you lose...regardless of whether or not you even left. :evil
And Obright, there will be like 4 weather settings that Torayu will use if I remember correctly. Or 6 if I feel like deviating from the serious nonmagic tone and incorporate "Dream Torayu". :D
