So, I'm taking my annual trip....

...to the Sword Coast! Yes, it's true, at least once a year I break out Baldur's Gate 1&2, with maybe a bit of Icewind Dales and Neverwinter Nights thrown in for some flavor. Especially considering the awesome BGT mod that lets you play through Baldur's Gate using the superior BG2 engine, I have to take at least one journey a year.

So, with that out of the way, which games do you have that you can't help but play more than once?

I find myself returning to Mega Man 2 & 3 every other month. Ikaruga every month. Eternal Darkness once a year. Donkey Kong and Starfox once a year. Oh, and Chrono Trigger every other year or so. Also Zelda, LTTP and OOT.

I actually spend more time replaying old games than playing new.

I have a lot of games I play more than once...perhaps more than I realize.

An example.....Golden Axe. When I owned a Genesis, I played that almost religiously. I own it now for my VC, and that hasn't changed.

.....oh, and I just remembered another game I like playing over and over. I mentioned it in the past, and I hope they bring it to the VC. Two Crude Dudes. I played it whenever I had a really bad day and want to throw stuff around. In my opinion, few old-school games have that lasting appeal and are more satisfying.
