Re: What is your favorite serialized drama?
Law & Order + Spin-offs.
I can't believe you didn't put Law and Order! It's one of the longest running dramas out there.Last edited by Red Dragon; 04-12-2007, 12:03 AM.

I was gonna give you rep (pos), but I've given out too much in the past 24 hours.Originally posted by SirTMagus View PostBTW LAST THING I DRANK WAS MILK
So is this another of my self-serving, vanity threads?
I'm sorry, but I just like coming up with really simple threads that the majority of the people at the boards can answer without feeling excluded in some way.

The topic specifically stated "Serialized dramas" though, RD.
And as much as it pains me to say it, as of this current moment, I'm gonna have to go with Lost. I missed all but the first 4 episodes of 24 this season, due to not having broadcast TV before I moved, missing three episodes in the process, then work/moving being hectic, missing another 2, and at that point I was already 5 episodes behind. I kinda refused to pick up after that, and have decided to wait for the season to come out on DVD and just watch the entire thing in 3 days.
So, yeah, Lost it is for me.

Re: What is your favorite serialized drama?
Current or all-time?
This is a horrible question for me. I am such a TV addict.
The difference between the two are simply that while serialized dramas may have standalone episodes, for the most part they are driven by storylines that continue through multiple episodes. Generally you can't rearrange episodes without harming the series.
Regular dramas, on the other hand, may have the occasional continuing storyline, but for the most part consist of episodes that stand alone and may be freely rearranged.
Dramas:
CSI
Law and Order
Without a Trace
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Serialized Drama:
BSG
Lost

Re: What is your favorite serialized drama?
I voted Battlestar Galactica because it's my current favorite.
All time favorite would be X-Files, although I can see that falling under the regular drama designation. In which case the answer would probably still be BSG.
Current quality dramas missing from the choices: The Wire and ReGenesis (although the second is unsurprising because it's one of the most obscure shows on TV, and it's not even on in the US and this is the point where Mora makes fun of me).
