Shrek the Third

***WARNING***: This article actually spoiled a little bit too much for me. So don't read past the first paragraph or two, or you'll end up getting the whole plot.

I'm actually looking foward to seeing this one; I enjoyed the previous two. Usually by the time the third of a series comes around, all of the good material's been used up; let's hope the introduction of a rather large new cast of characters will stave off the inevitablility of series staleness.

Yeah, this is another movie in another already crowded month that I have to see. I loved the first two Shreks and have to watch the third one.

I have seen little or no promotion for this movie where I live. Dreamworks had better get their asses in gear if they want to make another $400 million grosser. Still, I really want to see this movie too.

The first movie was great. A real gem. The second made my stomach turn. I couldn't even stand the preview for the thrid. I'll be staying far, far away (GET IT LOLZ!)

It was more the hartless corperatization and frachization of what was a really good movie. But the bizzare pacing, forced humor, and pop song singalongs didn't help.

Hmmm... the first Shrek was fantastic, and the second one was a lot better than most people give it credit for. Maybe lacking the slower, meandering development allowed the magic and whimsy from the first one to shine, but it was still a good story with a lot of funny references and some damn nice art. I'll definitely check out the third one.

this is one of two series which are forever ruined for me due to having sex through them. this and harry poter are both totaly ruined as they where used to launch a full scale evening of raging hormones or used to cover up some of the activities that went on while it was playing. i have not seen any movie of these in its intirety.

i will wait for this to hit dvd, that month is already brutaly full with stuff to see at the theator.

Although I did enjoy the first Shrek, it was the beginning of a plague of CG movies riddled with asinine pop culture references.

And the plague still hasn't stopped.





God, I hate pop culture.

I guess that would make watching those awkward; see, that's why you only do that during the bad movies.

pop song singalongs didn't help

Yeah, I could have done without the fairy godmother's spiel in the second one. Other than that, I found the rest of the movie pretty fun.

I just wanna see more of Puss in Boots.
