World War Hulk! SPOILERS!

Have any of you nerds been reading Planet Hulk? Its an awsome story thats been going on with the incredible hulk.

*SPOILERS*
























Bruce Banner is tired of Hulk being deemed a monster, that does nothing but destory things. So when SHIELD asks banner to do a mission that only the Hulk would be able to do, he signs up hoping to do some good. Hes sent into space to Get rid of some space probe circling earth. When hes done his shuttle gets launched off into deep space to never be heard from again. Why?

Reed Richards, Iron Man, Dr.Strange, and Black bolt are all members of some super hero illuminati thing, and deemed Hulk to dangerous to live on earth, so they decided to just get rid of him.

Hulks shuttle goes off course, and he lands on some crazy savage planet. Aliens find him, and sell him into slavery, and he ends up in some gladiator coliseum type place. Blah blah blah, Hulk kicks many asses, finds a hot alien babe that can trade blows with the mighty hulk, falls in love, frees the entire planet from the grip of an evil brutal emperor. The people of the planet hail him a hero, and thank him by making him the new emperor. He makes plans to unite all the people of the planet. People love him even more. Hot alien babe is his queen. Said alien babe lets him know shes pregnant with his child. All in all things are going totally ****ing awsome for Hulk.

Then the shuttle he was sent in self destructs with like a giant friggin' nuke. Im guessing it was ment to kill Hulk originally. It wipes out the entire city Hulks in, kills hundreds of thousands of the people who hailed him as their kind new ruler. His queen is also killed in the blast. Not only does the bomb level the huge city, it breaks up the tectonic plates of the planet, making lava come up evrywhere and burn and kill all the others who werent hit by the blast.

Its epic and sad all at the same time. I really wanna see Hulk get even. Id dont think hes ever had **** like this happen to him. Hell even I was attached to the characters just by reading it. Then to have them all wiped out like that even made me mad. Now thats good writing. Id like to see him rip iron Man and Reed in half.

Its about 14 issues long and Id probably pay twice as much to buy them all again. Its that damn good. Its an epic and sad story. It could have been a stand alone, with no marvel characters, and it would have been just as awsome.

So go to your local comic shop and buy them all! Youll thank me when you read them all!

Dude....it's gonna be nuts. Then again.. the whole blamed Marvel Universe is in the freakin toilet. There's heroes supposedly dead everywhere. Most notably Captain America, Thor and The New Warriors. Spiderman's identity is publicly known and he's the #1 most wanted unliscensed hero right now. Shield is corrupt. The Thunderbolts are really a nasty group of individuals right now that do alot of dirty work for Shield. There are now only a few scattered mutants left in the world because the Scarlet Witch decided to remove the mutant gene from every single mutant on the planet making then "human". This was after she went nuts and create dthis whole fake reality as detailed in "House of M". She also killed Hawkeye in that series, but he came back and sorta lost it because he had been dead, who knows where he is at. Fantastic Four is well...for the most part still together but Reed and Sue are having major marriage problems due to the Civil War. And then there is Iron Man. Iron Man has become this guy that wants control. He's become a sorta tolitarian if you will. And well there has been speculation that he's always been in some way, envious of Captain America. So maybe it's his way of finally beating him.. I don't know. But he does need to get his butt kicked.

World War Hulk... Hulk comes back to earth. He's also coming with the remnants of his empire. It does indeed look cool. There was one scene where Hulk had his huge hand firmly wrapped around Xavier's neck, you see his small head sticking out at the top. Looks kinda funny. And then there's this one sample where Hulk is fighting Blackbolt. Blackbolt creates a huge harmful energy whenever he emits a sound from his mouth. Well he whispers and knocks the Hulk into a stone wall. Hulk gets up an says "I didn't come here for a whisper." There's talk that the person who is finally gonna stop the Hulk is Thor.

Yeah, the blackbolt preview looks awsome. I wanna see hulk pull Reeds head apart so fast it snaps like sticky tack. Only FF4 character I like is Ben. ITS CLOBBERIN' TIME!

And that list IGN put up there, I think its totally bogus, and they made it up. Why would Hulk have any reason to go after Tigra, Spidey, or wolverine? Hulk and Spiderman are like buddies. Sometimes.....

Well, I doubt everybody's just gonna sit idly by and watch while he takes out his enemies and generally wreaks havoc, you tend to pick up a few new enemies when you launch your own personal world war.

If I had super powers and felt that he might pretty much destroy the world, yeah. I don't know if you've noticed but superheroes kinda have a tendency of going up against steep odds and not backing down. That's where the hero part comes from.

I don't necessarily think he'd be TRYING to destroy the world, more not caring how much collateral damage he caused in getting his revenge, considering they kinda sorta ya know destroyed his world. But I'm mostly going off the assumption they wouldn't be calling it World War Hulk, if it wasn't going to be global scale carnage. Otherwise that's just false advertising.

The only thing Im not likeing about it is Theres cross overs into nearly ALL the marvel comics with World War Hulk, so if you wanna see it all you may have to read more than just Hulk. Bah.
