This is pretty neat. Used an AOL 9 CD, a Fine/UltraFine twin-point sharpie, and some night-blooming jasmine body splash( the rubbing alcohol rubs away mistakes ).

WhatCHA think?

That's really good. That's good on the level of... Andy Warhol(well, if the image were made up entirely of AOL discs, it would be).

Sometimes I wonder how the world would manage without Magus.

I don't think it'd run very well. :(

Please, please. This is Opeo's topic.

I like his avatar too. Reminds me of Rushmore.

That's way awesome.... I wish it would have been like, a useful CD though so it wouldn't 'go to waste' (Not that it's a waste, just that I could totally see that being mass produced just for disc art or something). How'd you get such fine detail in the negative? Like, the gaps between lines that act as an outline... did you really just do that good on the first try or did you do some detailed erasing?

Alex

I just drew it very slowly the first time.

I 'erased' big parts, like when I messed up my nose or mouth, I got rid of it all. You can't get any detail using tissue and body spray.

If I had used a useful CD, I wouldn't be able to use it. Use use use.

But yeah, this would be great if I had any use to put out CD's.

Oh, and after I was done with the whole thing, I accidentally spilled the rubbing alcohol onto the glasses, which you can see is a little smeared after I went over it. It almost became a pretty gruesome disaster.

Keep doing them and make a giant AOL CD collage! You'd be famous!

The people on that commercial made the giant fish out of AOL CDs.

You could make a 'famous person's collage,' and get on the news and stuff.

That sounds like a good idea...

Any requests?

I vote for the old pope. People still clamoring about the pope's death will want to buy it, no matter how inane and useless it might be. You'll make some money, and some poor dupe's gonna get a portait of the pope on a used AOL CD! :D
