    HDTV's

Im looking to upgrade my 17"CRT, to a 32"HDTV. Im not gonna get HD cable, but its mainly to have a bigger screen, and video games. Only problem is Im not up to date with all this modern HDTV mumbo jumo.

Like this ones $699 and seems just fine to me.

    $699

These two cost a little more, and Id rather pay that little extra to get a better one. but I cant really see much of a difference. :/

    $729
    $749

    Just looking for some advice!

Well judging from the compare option, the first one looks better than the other two actually. So go with the cheaper one

Out of the three is has the best combination of viewing angle, contrast ratio, brightness ratio, and response time (though some times these are exaggerated as there is grey to grey and white to black response times, one of them is harder to achieve fast times on).

All it doesn't have are PC audio inputs (all you would need is a 1/8" stereo mini-pin female to RCA male converter to get it to work on the RCA jacks, these are usually $5 at radio shack), and closed captioning. It's also smaller volume wise, and lighter. So though the one PC monitor I got form envision was pretty crappy, might have just been a bad one. So just make sure you can return it after purchase if there is something wrong, for any of them.

Don't worry to much about HD tv shows either. There aren't that many out there and they're not real HD. Usually its something that's been upconverted. I have an HDTV for the same reason as you want one, the games. They look awsome it makes a huge difference, at least to me.

I should really get an HDtv to utilize my PS3.

I'd personally wait a while until the prices drop. 700 bucks is a lot of money to me.
