its out this week for the PS3. Since it's already on the 360, I figure I'd ask if it's worth renting, or if I should just stay away from it completely.

Re: Is Enchanted Arms worth checking out?
It's very very linear. Voice acting is cheezy, but the battle system can be fun. As you fight you earn levels and increase stats like normal, but you also earn skill points to spend on new special attacks and increase your stats some more.
The FMV's are bad ass, but very few. Most of the dialog is a still background with the characters on each side talking to each other.
Graphics are very bland in some spots, but in other areas it looks really nice. but since the maps are basically a straight path from point A to point B there's not much to explore.
And as you play, you can create Golems, which are the game's monsters, to fight in your party.

There are over 100 of them, with some very bizarre types, and you can mix and match human members and Golems. And the battle system has a fast forward button for when you want a battle to move right along
Also, you can choose between English and Japanese voice acting.
It's basically a very pretty launch RPG.

Most guys are really good at that anyway, so its not much of a challenge.Last edited by The_Real_Crunk; 04-03-2007, 08:41 AM.
