    Broken Saints

    Has anyone seen this? I bought it on DVD box set for 15 bucks the other day, and have thus far watched disc one, and am thoroughly in awe of it. It's like a deep metaphysical poetic multimedia comic book, full of tribalism and high technology. Authors ranging from Shakespeare to Philip K. Dick, and C.S. Lewis, Lewis Carrol, and Robert Frost are quoted throughout. I just read a blurb on IMDB, and it apparently started life on the internet. After disc one, I became very still and contemplative, and am looking forward immensely to disc two.

    This is unlike anything I have ever seen before. It is strange, odd, moving, and deeply satisfying. The last time I got contemplative after watching something like this was after Kino's Journey. You owe it to yourself to watch this.

          When I was watching it on Newgrounds, it just seemed like Live-A-Live, but with worse pacing. I watched about half a dozen episodes, and nothing happened.

          I mean, I thought it had a pretty good tone and presentation for a flash cartoon, but I never once thought it deserved anything like a DVD release. It was all sliding frames and ambient music... How do you get someone to produce that?!

          ... It has voices now? Maybe that makes it less frustrating. Or more...

              Yeah ive watched like half of the episodes and realised nothing was ever going to happen. I wasted like hours of my life.

                    I love Kino's Journey. But at least Kino's Journey arrives to a point in less than a billion hours and without emo narration.
