Replaying some old PC games!

Went diggin through my pile of CDs and found Fallout, and Twinsens Odessey!

I thought I lost them forever.

I love Fallout so damn much. Its one of my favorite games of all time. I cant wait till I get that BrotherHood of Steel armor again. Then deck my guy out with a chain gun, bazooka, and a semi-auto shotgun. Coolest weapons in any RPG game EVER! I should really get Fallout2 though. It looks so cool, and its only like $5.

Then Twinsens Odessey. I played through that entire game around 6 times when I first got it. Awsome characters, story, level designs, everything about it is cool. Its also the only game Ive played where EVERY NPC has their own voice. You can go through the entire game without reading any text if you want. Its an awsome goddamned game. Its just so cool. If theres any game you should play, this should be the one.

I wonder if Terr likes Fallout. Really seems like a game he could get into.

Indeed I do, what little of it I had the time to play.

It is a modernized version of that RPG Wasteland I enjoyed so much in childhood. Wasteland taught me how to read.

A game I enjoyed almost as much as Fallout was Arcanum. I would recommend that to anyone who liked Fallout.

It has a good few similarities, mostly because a lot of people quit the company working on Fallout to make Arcanum.

A really old PC game I still enjoy is Wizardry 8, and pretty much all the Sega PC remakes.

I'd love to replay the old Lucasarts stuff. The Dig, TIE Fighter and Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight were my LOVERS.

Man, what happened to Lucas Arts? Seriously, every single one of their games used to be top notch with the utmost focus on originality. Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, Maniac Mansion, Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis, all the Monkey Islands, The Dig, Sam and Max, Grim Fandango...wish they would still make point and click adventures.

Is there anyway to get those games, especially the dig and full throttle. I just remember playing demos and never the full versions.

Planescape Torment is a great old PC game

I would ****ing sell my soul to find a copy of that game in any store. Or a time machine to speed it's journey to abandonware.
