Name a restaurant and talk about it

I just got back from Huntington Beach after celebrating my uncle's birthday and we had an amazing birthday lunch at this all-you-can-eat Sushi and Seafood Bar called Todai. Normally, I don't go to all-you-can-eat buffets, but this one takes the cake for me since it had nearly every kind of sushi you could ever ask for--even the California Rolls. Plus, they had Teriyaki Chicken and BBQ Ribs, which I helped myself to.....

But it was mostly all about the sushi. Although expensive (the entire meal cost about $130.00 for six people), this stuff is GOOD. I basically stuffed myself silly today--as much as my stomach could handle.

With that being said, I thought it'd be fun if you guys could name a good restaurant you've been to (or want to go to) and talk about it. (I got the idea from the 'name a game and talk about it' thread.)

    Have fun!

Edit: .....my apologies to SHFC! (Please don't sue me! )

Earlier today I went to a Mexican restaurant called La Bonita. I had a really good chicken quesadilla.

    Mmmm...

I usually pretty satisfied just having dinner at friendly's. I'm pretty boring, though.

Todai's was alright. Buffets aren't really my thing since I don't usually eat more than one plate, and I've had better sushi at a ****ty rotating belt in a strip mall across the street.

There's a guy in my play from South Carolina who worked at Chik-Fil-A. I was jealous, and he didn't understand why.

El Ranchito. It's a cheap little mexican restaurant in Greenville, but the food and service is amazing. I eat there about two or three times a week.

Sappari's is also here and is a Japanese Steak Bar where they cook in front of you and also serve sushi. I don't get to eat there often but it's pretty good.
              Keep the change.

There are lots of Chik-Fil-As around where I live.

The IHOP in our town is racist.

                    We're never going there again.

Which is a shame because I like their pancakes.

                    And Kirin doesn't do Denny's.
                    ...and that's why.

So are the Waffle Houses in North Carolina...but I don't want to get into that. I usually don't go out much, since I don't have a car, but when I did, I used to go to this Japanese restaurant called "Teriyaki House" and I'd get the Hibachi steak. It came with fried rice, fried zuchinni, and mushroom. I'm usually not a fan of mushrooms or zuchinni, but they cooked it up something good.

I'm sorry, I just don't like shredded cheese (and extra-sharp, at that) topped on my omelettes. The cheese has to be melted in, or nothin'. And their grits were lumpy.

Fuji Gourmet (Valdosta, GA): This just recently opened where I live, and it's the best Chinese food buffet that we have. I'd visit it more often, but it's too expensive.

Broadway Cafe (Atlanta, GA): This place had the best spicy hot wings I've ever tasted.

Nu-Way Weiners (Macon, GA): Sublime hot dogs.

Chops (Atlanta, GA): I've always wanted to eat here, but I hear there's a mile-long reservation list.

In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.

I've had those dilemmas at Denny's as well. I don't like lumpy grits. But I don't mind too much about the shredded cheese though

California Pizza Kitchen (Torrance, CA--South Bay Galleria)

I mentioned this restaurant in another thread, but now I get to explain why I like it. In my opinion, one of the best pizza restaurant joints EVER. Their pizza isn't greasy, and they use a lot of gourmet ingredients for their toppings--the choice sausages, and the finest cheeses. It's a bit pricier than Papa Johns or Pizza Hut, but it's still damn good pizza. Worth every penny, and worth giving a good tip to the waiters and waitresses.

                          The Kettle (Redondo Beach, CA)

It's a small restaurant near the beach where my friend and I like to go at midnight. They serve all kinds of food there, especially hamburgers the size of footballs. (An exaggeration, of course, but they're still pretty big.) I've also had their salads and chicken sandwiches there, too. And it's one of few restaurants I visit that I go to drink beer instead of coke.

The Vortex (Little 5 points and Midtown Atlanta, GA) - Great place for burgers with an interesting atmosphere. Of course I'm sure they have good alcohol too, but given I can't stand drinking I wouldn't know. Apparently they have a website as well http://www.thevortexbarandgrill.com/TheVortex/index.htm. You should read the menu, it's kind of funny http://www.thevortexbarandgrill.com/...us/WebMenu.pdf.

Ginza Steakhouse (Peachtree City, GA) - Just recently closed down, but had some of the best fried rice (scallop and steak fried rice) and some good sushi. Of course it was also expensive as hell, but they cooked in front of you and that was pretty cool.

White Castle.... food sucks, don't eat there. Not much more I can add to that. I always wondered what the big deal was about that place. Then I ate there and still had no clue.

As for actual restraunts, I can't think of any at this time. Because I'm a bit...
