    Super Paper Mario

The Wii's all I got right now, so I'm waiting wholeheartedly for Brawl, Corruption and MP8 to come swinging by. In the meantime, Paper Mario is coming out sometime next week.

Anyone else looking forward to this as well?

      Re: Super Paper Mario

This just might turn out to be my all-time favorite Action/RPG, if PM2 was any indication.

If there's one thing I really like in RPGs and RPG-esque titles, it's platforming elements.

I almost preordered it last week, but then I closed my web browser at the checkout page because I remembered I still have like 20 unopened games to play. And no free time.

Game Informer liked it but they said, like Paper Mario 2, there's way too much dialogue. Then again Paper Mario 2's dialogue was better writen then pretty much any other game out there. Also: Game Informer.

I have it paid in full on my pre-order so I just have to walk in and pick it up
            Keep the change.

As much as I want this game, I haven't played the Thousand Year Door yet. It's $20. I can get it, but I'm not sure how it plays. Maybe I should hold off on Paper Mario 2 until I try the Thousand Year Door first?

Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of how the game looks design wise, but the switching of perspectives is interesting enough to warrant purchase.

Yeah I bought Paper Mario 2 during my Christmas game grab (since I bought like 20 or so). Of course I think I've finished like 3 of them, and started about 3 more. But after I finish those games, given the great reviews here PM2 will likely be the next one I start.

                      I meant Paper Mario 3.

It's too late. You already made the topic. Game over man!

I'm not looking foward to it.... and the reason why is because even if it's coming out, there's no way I can play it because... in order for me to play it I need a damn Wii... and in order for THAT to happen I need to buy one... and in order for THAT to happen, one needs to actually be in a store ready to purchase.

This is actually more of a platformer, or better yet more of an action-rpg than the former Paper Mario games.

No turn-based battles to be found here.
