    Morgan Spurlock would be proud.

Today as I was coming home from work on the train, the driver suddenly turned on the speakers and said, "What's that burning off to our left?"

All of the passengers looked up from various conversations and out of the train's left-hand windows to see a pillar of black smoke rising into the sky. Other buildings were obscuring the view, but as we came closer the building in question came into view...

...fire trucks were hurriedly dousing a flaming McDonald's.

The entire car erupted into laughter, followed by comments such as "Those are gonna be some well-done burgers!"

I feel kinda bad for laughing, but hey - the restaurant was not a blackened skeleton of a building. It seemed to be an isolated fire, so the place can be renovated back into shape. Also, doesn't look like anyone was hurt.

It was interesting. Definitely something I didn't expect to see.

I'm glad no one was hurt.

Speaking of fire I was going to make a separate thread about this but since we're on the same subject we just had our 2nd fire in less then a year on the same street nonetheless

Anyways back on subject, I wonder how much McLooting was going on after the fire

The only cool thing I've seen while riding the bus was an upside-down car that had come to rest next to a building.

one time a kid threw a glass bottle of perfume out of the window and it smashed all over this lady's windshield and she freaked out and veered over into the left lane and caused a head on collision and a fifteen car pileup. seventh grade was awesome.

Once, when coming home from work on the bus at about 10 at night, I saw a car parked in the mall parking lot with literally 5-6 feet of flames shooting upward from its hood.

I bet all that grease would be like a tire fire and burn for years.

When the train went past this morning, only one of the window areas near the roof was damaged. It wasn't a severe fire, so I don't feel bad for laughing now.

I dunno what happened though, it wasn't mentioned in the news.
