If this won't convince schools that abstinence-only sex education never works, I don't know what will. Same goes for those "contraception is a sin" folks.

The first newborn was discovered swaddled in a blanket on an outdoor bench, an umbilical cord still hanging from his tiny body. Then, at neat 11-month intervals, two more abandoned babies were found in parked pickup trucks in the same neighborhood. This week, DNA tests established all three babies were almost certainly born to the same mother.

Whomever did this must've been pretty desperate.

In most states judges can order women and men to have their reproductive organs tied/burned or whatever they do to them

I think he'll order that, then send her to prison

I'd gladly allocate my tax dollars towards paying to have this woman sterilized.

I hope whomever the caretakers of these children are will the decency to never tell these kids how they were found.

It's not this woman is representative of the public or any major trend, but yeah, I agree that contraception needs to be taught more heavily.

That's just awful. She could have at least put the children up for adoption instead of abandoning them, or remained abstainant...

At least two of them survived and will be cared for, but it's still really sad.

We should encourage baby abandonment and start a program where abandoned children are raised to be hard-core soldiers and then hire them out as a mercenary army. That way we can make big bucks.
