    Plagiarism (Short Rap)

Voice: I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse...

    *beat begins*

    Yo *beat continues* Check it...

Two years ago, I was just like you
Wishing I would never come this school
But there was one topic that caught my attention
Plagiarism, something that my CL mentioned

When one does it, you erase your honor
It's a serious crime and it can really harm you
    Stealing people's work without citation
Can get you expelled, or even probation

When I heard this, I was scared to death
That I'd be an individual who did this mess
It's not worth it for my pricey education
If I slipped up now, my future hits the pavement

So, I make sure when I do my papers
To cite the sources for all my courses
I hope through this rap, you will realize
That Bonanza doesn't want you to plagiarize.

    *beat end*

Sounds good, but the only thing plagiarism will do on a school paper is give you a bad grade

Also your song has an odd rhyming pattern in the 3rd verse:

      A
      A
      B
      B

      A
      B
      C
      C

      A
      B
      C
      D

      A
      B
      C
      C

      /start constructive criticism

Like I said sounds really good, but could use some fine tuning

I feel in the 3rd verse you were going for the AABB pattern but didnt quite hit it

      /end constructive criticism

Was this for a school project?

The beat from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air goes well with it

The good thing about rap is no matter how bad you are at singing rap will always sound like rap and theres always people that will like it

Not saying you're bad B, I have no idea, just voicing more personal opinions

Well...sorta. I was a connection leader last semester (a student teacher for freshmen), and I gave them a homework assignment to write a rap about plagiarism, and I did the assignment with them. Mostly, though, I did it for leisure.

DK: I actually did record it a few months back. It's on my soundclick music page. I'll pm you the link.
