Re: I have soiled my under garments
I'm not
After GW:EN (yes it has Gwen in it) that's it for GW1. If they don't let us transfer our characters or at least our skills to Guild Wars 2. I will be a very angry Red Dragon.Last edited by Red Dragon; 03-27-2007, 06:37 PM.

Re: I have soiled my under garments
It said that with GW:EN you would be able to earn stuff for GW2. Whether this means the characters will carry over or not I do not know.
I, however, doubt that the characters will carry over. I think they are going to do a major overhaul on the whole system, possibly all new classes. My reason for believing this is because if they were to make another GW game "compatible" with GW1+Expansions, then they WOULD make it an expansion.
There would really be no point in making a game where the characters could carry over. Any graphical/class/skill improvements they want to do could be done through an expansion.
I think they are looking to make this a new game. Not an expansion. I think they want everyone to start out on the same level. If they wanted do an expansion they would, but they did an all new game, so I think it's gonna be just that, an all new game.tamoki

Re: I have soiled my under garments
At least make my skills carry over or somthing. I spent too much time investing in GW to start all over for GW2.

Then again, it's sounding more like a free WoW than a GW anyhow."So there is not a level 20 cap," Strain said. "Either it will be a high level like 100 or unbounded, we haven't decided."
Besides these significant changes to the game, Guild Wars 2 will also introduce plenty of smaller ones, like the ability for your characters to do things like jump, swim, even climb trees.Last edited by Red Dragon; 03-27-2007, 11:08 PM.

Re: I have soiled my under garments
I was just referring to the different race thing, constant updates and what not. (Plus, I know it's gonna be f2p.) I haven't actually played WoW yet.Originally posted by Red Dragon View PostIt's not "turning" into WoW however. It's a whole new game. Plus it's not p2p. I really hope they do somthing however that makes us all 4 chapter owners (i plan on getting GW:EN) feel like we got our moneys worth
Wait, you just said the same thing. "A free WoW." <_<"Those who want peace must prepare for war."

Re: I have soiled my under garments
This pack is what they are calling end game content for Guildwars players. It's about time...but even then...it pales in comparison to WoW's end game.If you don’t like the Revolution controller, you are fundamentally part of the problem and killing the ****ing art form. ~Kieron Gillen

Re: I have soiled my under garments
I throught by using the word "turning" you were reffering to GW:EN (the expansion) and not GW2 (the stand-alone sequel).Originally posted by Drazus View PostWait, you just said the same thing. "A free WoW." <_<Last edited by Red Dragon; 04-16-2007, 10:57 PM.
