How often do you go online shopping?

My Ebay account is so ancient, I almost forgot my password. But I logged on today after about a year of not buying anything and ordered the FFXII Limited Edition Soundtrack for $25.00. Not too bad--I've always wanted it and thought now was the time to actually get it.

I used to do a lot of online shopping these days, but for some reason, I stopped. Of course, whenever I DO shop online, it's usually either EBay or Sphiatt (a site where you can buy anime and Japanese movies). Ofttimes, I normally buy hard-to-find video games, anime, music and sometimes PVC figurines.

I'd better get back into it. I just noticed new items that hold a great degree of interest.

Do you guys shop online often, or just buy stuff locally?

I use to do this quite alot. Usually for cards or anime... it has been a very long time.

I love shopping online. Amazon/eBay are my debit card's best friends. A lot of the stuff I like isn't found in local stores (plants, books, etc.), I can find games cheaper online, and I always buy presents for others from online stores. However, I've not been able to do any for a while now because I'm so broke.

That still doesn't stop me for browsing my favorite shopping sites every day.

It's too easy to shop online. You can get anything you want, and you are forced to use fake money to buy things. At least in real life I have the option to pay with cash so I can feel my wallet get lighter.

I don't have a car so I'm pretty much forced to order certain things online. I don't mind, because that means whatever it is will be delivered right to my door. I also purchase anime/video game stuff on Yahoo Japan and Play-Asia.

I buy almost everything online. It's way too impractical nowadays to drive looking for something.

Sometimes I hit up amazon for books. I don't have an eBay account. I still drive square tires too.

With eBay, generally I shop in bursts. I go along for a few months, and then I think, "hey, maybe I should look on eBay for a few things". Just today I was outbid by 4 dollars for a Castlevania 20th anniversary package, which would have contained, among other things, a soundtrack with music from all over the series. Generally I look for Lego sets.

There's no real speciality stores or places that sell anything of interest to me in person so I usually hit online vendors.

Sound advice! My EBay account ranking is still at 18 Positive Feedback. And I've ordered a lot more than just 18 items.

I remember bidding on Panzer Dragoon II Zwei once and losing that bid to a person who ended up not paying for the item. So the auctioneer sent me an email asking if I wanted it for $30.00--the price the original winner beat me at. Not only did I get the game, I also got three free Saturn manuals to games I don't even have. Oh well, he was giving them away anyhoo.....

I don't bid on items unless I absolutely have to, so normally I would use the "Buy it Now" option to get the item right away at the price in which it's listed.

when I was ordering stuff online, I'd only order things that weren't available at retail in the US. I could have saved myself a lot of time if I had used online shopping for my transformer collecting, but the thrill of the hunt and being able to pick figures with the best paint applications were too important to me.

Now, gundam models, those were the big thing. I remember dropping $1200 in one day five years ago at gundamshop.com. gah.

Same here. I hate bidding. I just got outbid on a gibson les paul junior in Tv yellow after having the high bid for a few days

I can't get mad though, I do the same thing all the time.
