Well, I might be getting an assistantship so I can afford to go back to college for my master's degree! Wheee! The girl I talked to said it looked like someone already looked at my file and they are going through them all real soon. With my good grades and glowing letter's of reference, I have a decent chance at getting this.

Nothing good has happened to me in a while. I guess the last thing was my sister and her family visiting for Christmas. So far this year, nada.

Absolutely nothing has been good for me. I have been rejected from countless jobs. Its slim pickings where I live. I might have to move out of my parents house (I only graduated a year ago). The city might be better for me.

I finally got a reply from the theater in Cape Cod I really want to intern at, so in about a week I'll be journeying there for an interview.

And I'm going to see The Decemberists tonight.

I found out last Friday that there was a check for me that had been waiting in the Bursar's office since July of 2006. After it was sent back for a special "It's okay to cash this super old check" approval, I cashed it. Yay!
Only $38, but I'll take it.
