Eragon--on DVD!

So I just realized that Eragon is out on DVD now. I didn't get a chance to see that in theaters. There's a regular edition and a 2-dsic collector's edition to choose from. Two different flavors of dragon excitement.

I did read Christopher Paolini's book and thought that was a pretty good read. Not sure about this movie though. Have any of you seen it? Should I buy the DVD and see it, or skip it?

I've not read the book, but I've seen the movie, and you'll be doing yourself a huge favor if you don't even bother renting it. The plot's poorly written and disjointed, and the acting was awful (especially that monotone-voiced evil king guy). I saw the movie with a person who's a huge fan of the books, and even she said it was crap. So...yeah.

THE PRESTIGE IS THE SHIZNIT. CHRISTIAN BALE ROCKS MY WORLD!

The plot's poorly written and disjointed, and the acting was awful (especially that monotone-voiced evil king guy).

I saw the TV commercials for it, and the guy who plays the main character seems to be overplaying his role quite a bit. Jeremy Irons is in that movie too, but he hasn't been in a decent movie since.....who knows when?

Yeah, my little sister read the books and loved them so much she didn't think it possible for the movie to suck.

She came out of the theaters astonished and severely disappointed.

And remember, Borat is also out on DVD. I defintally suggest picking that up as well. Of course Casino Royal is a must have DVD as well.
