    Late adopters

Who all is still waiting to get into the new generation of game systems? And what are your reasons?

I've bounced back and forth about what console I want to buy. From 360 to Wii60 to now I don't know. Aside from the Virtual Console the Wii has seemed to be somewhat disappointing so far. Unlike GameCube it's actually getting 3rd party games but so few of them are really good. 360 is shaping up pretty well, especially with the Elite edition coming. PS3 has finally stopped being the industry whipping boy but still isn't giving me a reason to drop $500-600 on it, and with all the exclusives crossing over it'd looking like it never will. Then there's the option of just getting into PC gaming since most of the games I want come to PC anyway.

I'm waiting on the 360. its a great system, but I really don't have a need for it right now, and it only has 2 exclusive games I want to play. dead rising and gears of war. and dead rising's stupidly small text requires an HDTV or a really damn good SDTV.

I'll get one eventually, but its not a priority.

Got the Wii, had to have it. I love it so much. the only game I have for it is Twilight Princess, and Mario Kart 64 on the VC, but the Wii gives you a lot of crap to do even without a game in the system. and I havent had a functional gamecube in years, so thats a huge benefit right there too. it's a lovable system.

I'll eventually own all 3. Have a wii and an unpacked 360.

WoW and wii really keep me busy though...but I'm sure down the road I'll grab a couple more must play games.

I actually don't own a next gen system, but my brother does. I mooch off him. I won't buy one, though, because I only like two games on the system. Also I never get to play it because my brother is playing that perverse game that has the unnatural breast physics. If boobs actually moved like they did in that game, women would be saying at night "STOP MOVING! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!"

I'm happy with my Wii, but I'd like to one day own a 360 and a PS3 in the future. From what I hear, the 360's getting stronger in the game line-up and the PS3 will follow suit with Final Fantasy XIII and a host of other good games.

Plus all three of the next-gen let you download arcade and old-school games!

I have a 360 and a Wii. I play the 360 all the time, I haven’t touched the Wii in a few months.

I'll get the PS3 once games I want come out

Speaking of the Wii, what games are going to come out for it? All I know is Super smash bros brawl and metroid prime 3

There's Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, Pokemon Battle Revolution, a possible Resident Evil, a new Sims game....that's about all I know of.

I'm excited about those, of course.

Thats not much. I actually was considering getting a Wii, but there aren't any good games that appeal to me. and as far as I can see, no RPGs.

                          There are RPGs.

Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles...

I dunno if I would put FF:CC on RPG list. It's more of a hack n' slash really. A fun Hack n' Slash, but a Hack n' Slash none-the-less.

There's nothing worth getting one for.
