New trailers of the game. I guess this is a director's addition or something. Adding 30+ hours of gameplay.

But still no way to pre-order the game on gamestop. Is there some kind of slowdown or obstacle that I don't know of?

I've never played Persona before, but the trailers make me interested in trying it out. It looks so dark and mysterious for an RPG.

I'm not sure if I have to play the earlier Persona games before I get into this one?

You don't have to play the previous ones. Though some characters from the ealier games make an appearance.

One thing I noticed that I thought was bizarre-yet-cool is the way in which you call your Personas......shooting yourself in the head. While I cringe at the thought of the sight of self-inflicted gunshot wounds, I have to admit it's a lot cooler than just raising your hands in the air and shouting.

The game as a whole is so non-traditional in its execution, I can fully understand why it's got such a great following here. I'm very impressed!

From what I can tell, it is action style rpg. And the world evolves on a time schedule that has you going to school and doing events at certain times.

Well, gamestop isn't taking pre-orders yet. Which would be strange if it was indeed coming out July I would think.

Atlus's site says June, and the Gamestop thing doesn't worry me because honestly Persona 3 is a cult game at best. I doubt that they're expecting a lot of pre-orders.


Besides, Atlus hasn't shown the greatest ability to stick to release dates.

Unless it's Grand Theft Madden **** Your Mother III or something.

I asked today and my GameStop said they weren't taking pre-orders for it yet either.

I'd like to pre-order it, but I may have to resort to just buying a copy when it's released....whenever that is.
